Not very popular

Dear ADMIN,

You will notice that I don't make very many posts on this RV forum and have not visited here too often..

One of the main reason for that is there is no way to "EDIT" a posting for mistakes after it is posted.

Why is that ? Why can't members edit their posts to correct mistakes ?

Thanks,
John

I edit my post whenever I read it and find I've made a mistake. Maybe you need to be signed in. FWIW I edited this post by adding the last sentence!

I can edit all of my posts as well. This is actually one of the best forum formats I've come across.

I do A LOT of editing of my posts due to spelling issues. John you should have a button to press to be able to edit what you post. It's at the top right corner of the screen just above the post after you hit the post button and you can see your new message.

OK, now I see the button... it is hidden from view because of screen over flow..

Of all the 8 different RV forums and several non RV forums that I belong to, only this one and one other do not have their screen width set to internet standard..

Because of this, a person has to scroll back and forth just to read the posts.. The edit button was hidden off screen because I did not scroll over far enough..

Thanks for the help,
John

John,

There has to be some setting you have on your system that doesn't show the screen properly for you. If I were in the area I'd have been happy to look over it for ya. It has to be something in the screen settings in your system.
