Long term hook-up charging

I'm kind of new to full time RVing and was wondering if I should disconnect my batteries while plugged in to AC so they aren't getting charged constantly. I understand a few nights is no big deal but when plugged in for a few months, will that harm my batteries.
Thanks

Zippy, the system is designed for those batteries to remain in the system 100% of the time. DO NOT disconnect the batteries.

Notanlines, thanks for the info, I wasn't sure if the inverter would go down to a trickle charge or not. Happy Rving and thanks again.
