5th wheel generators

Do all new 5th wheel RVs come with generators?

Welcome to the forum.
Generators, as well as "generator prep"aration accessories are considered optional equipment.
Generally no two owners will have the same opinions of what they expect or require in this department.
It is a good area for you to explore if you're shopping. Dealers like to keep costs low so they may offer units that are not equipped with aux. power.

Harley, what he^^^^said. Higher end RV's will most likely come with gen-prep included as an option at your expense. Most middle of the road lines on down will not. Also keep in mind that "gen-prep" does NOT include a fuel tank. Commonly the generators are either propane, or they run gas or diesel off a boat-tank type set-up.

Depending on how you intend to camp/travel you may not need one. Many of the used rv's we looked at with a generator have very low hours of use, so low as to not ever have been used. If your interested in camping off the grid so to speak, out of campgrounds then maybe you might need one?

No. I believe the size is a determining factor.

As the size and consequently price increase, the factory option of a 'generator prep' is more apt to be found. The 'gen prep' option is an enclosed space in the basement that has the wiring installed for a generator to hook up to. It also has a 'transfer switch' already in place that automatically senses whether the power is coming from a power pedestal or the generator. It usually includes a remote start button inside the fiver.
When we traded our '05 Suites in on the '15, the gen had 325 hours on it, and we had it transferred into the newer '15. 10 years/325 hours = 32.5 hours/year. Not a lot, but invaluable when we needed it. Allowed us to stay in Forest Service CGs when we wanted to.
It takes a lot of space out of the basement storage area, keep that in mind.
Welcome to the forum.
