Pipeline safety says HELLO
Hey everyone. I just wanted to say hello to everyone in here. I haven’t looked but I hope this forum is on TAPATALK cause that’s where all my other forums are. My name is Jeff. I’m from NW Arkansas (ozarks). Graduated from HS and other than visits with the family and kids, never looked back. I joined the service (Army) and did 23 years 9 months and 14 days. I’m now employed with whatever pipeline is hiring. I’m the most hated due on the pipeline, that’s right, I’m a safety manager. No one likes safety, and no one wants them around around but I’m there to make sure everyone goes home as safe as possible. So I bought a 2014 Forest River Sierra from an inspector that was getting out of the business to do ministry full time. Got a HELL of a deal on it. It’s a 44 ft. He barely used it and it sat in his yard.

Jeff, first of all, thank you for your service from an all Marine Corps family. Secondly, our neighbor in the park a few RV's away has a new Sierra 387. He's towing it with a Dodge 2500 Cummins, but has a new GMC dually on order. Very nice RV.

Hi jeff and welcome to the forum. I have a neighbor that works pipe line work all across the USA. He is a boom operator and has said how the safety officers he has worked with in his group were such sticklers for rules! But he also said, that guy keeps us all safe and as much as I don't really like the guy, I have to respect what he does and with his knowledge has saved his 'bacon' more than once. So just so you know there are guys that do thank you under their breath. Also nice looking place you have to live in.

Welcome to the site
Lots of great info and great people on here.
Don’t know how long it’s been since you’ve been to NW Arkansas, but it’s changed a lot in the last 50 years or so. Born and raised in Bentonville, currently reside east of Rogers.
Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
I am currently working on the Rover Pipeline in Ohio, and am very familiar with the safety people and their roles. For the most part, you all do a very good job no matter what others may think about it.
Nice rig, enjoy.
