Advice and suggestions, please?...for our Full-Time RV.

Hi all. We are new to the forum and glad to be here. I had posted this on a separate thread on this forum....Camping - Fulltimers, but thought this custom modification category might be appropriate, too. Thanks for reading this and thanks for any help/advice/etc. you may give.

Hi. My wife and I are eager to get back into RVing and have put together a wish-list for what we consider to best for OUR RV. We just need to find a good one like this...or buy new/used and do the additions ourselves. We hope you can help us find this unit:

RV type: 5th Wheel,naturally!
Year: 2002 - 2006
Length: 32-35ft.
Weight: towable by a 1-ton diesel
Slides: 3 or more
Price: depends on value
Location: anywhere, but prefer mid-west to west

Features we want:
solar power (a few 100/watt panels)
1500-2500 watt invertor
4-6 deep cycly 6-volt batteries
generator 3.5-6KW
satellite TV & Internet (auto-manual)
biggest TV's desk
boat hitch on Fiver (frame)
outside shower-outside ent. center
lots of storage - slide out bins-trays
all-season R factors-heated tanks/bays
thermo-pane windows, tinted
fireplace would be nice
king size bed
center door entry
largest fridge/freezer
never-lube axles
etc, etc.

Well, you get the idea. The as-perfect boondocking Fiver as we can get. Could be that there is one out there looking for an owner.

We need some help and info to shorten our search. What brand and model do you think best fits this choice? Thanks for your experienced advice. Roger and Phyl.

Make voyages!...Attempt them! There is little else!

We have awnings on the bedroom, slide out windows and the kitchen. The bedroom ones are particularly useful when the RV Park has brighrt street lights.
We reversed our day night window shades. They open up, vice down, now we can leave the very top of our windows unscreened so we can look out, and retain our privacy.
I've added shelves and electrical outlets when possible which has helped.
The best modification allows me to use our air ride suspension air compressor to inflate our tires. It takes time but it is worth it.

Everything you want is available, but IMHO you will be really pushing it with a one ton truck. Especially if youwant to tow a boat behind.

Sound like a Heartland 5er would be perfect for you . I pull a 36ft Golden Gate with my 2006 F250. I dont even know its back their most of the time.
I believe you can find everything you are looking for in a LandMark series.

Sounds like a great 5er with everything. I have most of the items but not all and we are at 16,000lbs. plus. (5er modified for this wt.) and with a boat. We feel safer with a MDT more for stoping than pulling but the pulling is nice too.
