Alarm help for a newbie

My parents have just become full time 5th wheel residents. I'm not sure they understand all the features. I just woke up to an extremely persistent alarm coming from the electrical monitoring system panel, by the sink in the kitchen. It was ear piercing. The button that was lit up was the water heater, electric one. Some flipping of switches shut it off. I'm sleeping here with my 2 kids and would like to know we won't not wake up. Can anyone reassure me what just alarmed. And why?

Not sure I could think of anything from that panel that would cause an alarm. Typically there would be a smoke dectector, CO2 detector or propane detector that would alarm. Some RVs have an alarm when the tanks (black or grey) get near full but I think those are a beeping not constant. You may also get a low battery warning but again not a constant shrill sound. If you are plugged into shore power you shouldn't have a low battery warning. Sorry I can't direct to the cause.
