Question A/C doesn't shut off

We have been full time in our 2007 MS RS3 for 3 years and my husband has become quick handy at finding and fixing problems. However, now our A/c is running almost continually, it lowers the temp to 73 until we turn it off, though it is set on 77. My husband has ordered a new thermostat and we are hoping that will solve the problem. We tried resetting it, but the results are the same. I was wondering where the sensor is that tell the thermostat when to turn off, does anyone know? Could it need to be replaced?
Any thought would be appreciated.

Sensor for LR AC is at rear of trailer above the cabinets on the passenger side. For the BR AC, at the top front of the vanity area. Both are white, base is about the size of a silver dollar, has grille-like openings on it. At least on my '05 TK3.
Hope this helps.
And, welcome to the forum!!

A/C won't shut off

Thanks for the help. We bought a new thermostat and it was a breeze to install it just plug and play and now all is good. Thanks again.
