Return Members...Going Fulltime!

Hello, I've been mostly a lurker on this site for years. Glad to see it was updated and reinvigorated. Hope that continues!

Having just retired, we are getting ready to go fulltime. We will pick up our new 2015 GMC 3500HD Denali long-bed, CC, dually, in a week or so, followed by the installation of a TrailerSaver TS3 hitch. About the same time, we'll do the PDI on a 2016 DRV Mobile Suites 38RSB3, but we don't expect to pick it up until around September 1st.

Once we get all that going, we'll take about 2 months to dispose of all our junk, and hope to hit the road by November 1st.

Can't wait!

If you only have 1/2 as much fun as we did your going to have a BLAST!! We made it 8 years full time and wish we had not quit.

Sounds like a re run of what we did last year...good luck. One thing we would do differently is to head further south sooner... We are doing that this year. Full timing is a very interesting lifestyle, be prepared to deal with a bunch of minor but irritating things that you will encounter, this forum will be helpful in solving them.
