OUTSIDE MARKER LIGHTS ALWAYS ON

I got a 2004 Montana 2955RL, and the outside marker lights are always on, the only way to shut them off is to disconnect the battery. Any ideas? is there a relay or something? also if anyone knows where i could find a wiring diagram for this thing that would be sweet. thanks

I would think the only way the marker lights could be on is for them to have a direct connection to the batteries. You could do some checking as to the wiring--there should be a junction box that the power cable from the truck connector goes to--that is where you could start. There also could be a misconnect within the power cable plug--is it the molded-on plug, or a removable plug. Use of a 12 volt test light will be helpful in tracing the power at different points in the system.

You may want to check the trailer wiring plug that plugs into the truck. Take it apart and check to see if a wire might have came loose and it is tuching the 12 volt battery charging wire or vise versera. when your truck is hooked up while towing 12 volts is flowing from the trucks charging system to the trailer battery. If this wire is loose in the trailer plug and touching the running light wire your trailer battery will power up the running lights. some where to start !!!!!!!!
