Hiya

Hello, my name is David.

My wife and I intend to purchase a 5th wheel trailer and see the country, while I work for a travel nurse agency.

We have some time before we're going to begin doing this, and I'm trying to learn everything I can about the lifestyle before we begin.

This is a great group and will answer questions when asked. So I guess the first question should be what weights will your truck safely haul?

According to Chevy's .pdf file, 3500HD will haul 23,200 lbs. Not sure if that's the four wheel or six wheel version, but we are planning on getting the six wheel long box crew cab model.
