Went and looked at a 5th today 25 ft was not too bad for the money on the outside till I checked the tires 2 of the 4 had plugs in them...

In side was clean bed it had a water leak in the front that was repaired dry now, but they had added angle trim piece to the overhand ( part of bed of truck) like it was weak...

it was a 2000 model for $2500? everything worked no generartor.

Not sure what you were looking for/expecting--water damage can be really expensive to fix...
Discount Tire usually plugs tires to repair them--don't really see a problem with that.

looked a 5th wheel

Wingnut thanks for the input, was not sure about the plugs in tires, not sure how much water damage this one had but they have a loose panel where it got wet and if I decide on this one I"ll pull the panel first a take a look.

Well, sometimes a hobby project can turn into a nightmare or a rainbow--you almost have to have covered area for long-term projects like fixing a roof.
Keep in mind what it would be worth in perfect condition so you don't end up putting more into it than you can ever get out of it. But then there is such a thing as sweat-equity...and pride in doing your own work.
Wish you much luck it you take it on.
Joe
