Tire size and make

I need to get 4 new tires for my Forest River 2011 Wildcat 31TS. The tires I have now are Maxis ST29C/80R16. Evidently, this tire is no longer made. I recently had a blow out, and need to replace all 4 tires. Considering these were made in 2014, I'd say I got more than my money worth. Suggestions? I prefer either Maxis or Carlisle, but will consider others.

The day we bought our new fifth wheel I purchased new tires all around since it came with the infamous "China bombs". I purchased what previously was called "Carlisle", I believe they now identify as Carlstar, but I also went UP one load range for extra safety. We've pulled it about 5,000 miles and I haven't had to top off the air pressure at all. They have held perfectly and ride very smooth. Previously when I had a much heavier fifth wheel I had Carlisle for a while and Goodyear Endurance for a while. I felt like Carlisle served me better - so that's what I went with on my new fifth wheel last year. (I did wind up selling the full set of original tires for enough to cover about 1 1/2 of the new tires).

Switched out the China Bombs on our new 5er when we bought it in 2020. I put on Carlisles because I had seen good reviews. Many years back Carlisle had a very bad reputation - I can confirm that, as I had a Carlisle blow out on my boat trailer while on the freeway. Subsequently they changed manufacturing plants and processes and became one of the most recommended trailer tires out there. Unfortunately, after only 3 years on our trailer we had one blow out and another start to 'separate'. I replaced those with Goodyear Endurance and have had no issues with them as yet. I will never buy Carlisles (or Carlstar as they are now called) again!

Sailun is very popular brand, too. If you want tires made in USA look for Goodyear, Bridgestone, Cooper, Continental and Michelin. Most of those are USA built and possibly Canada but you should verify.
