Anyone using Sailun 637 RV tires. I read a few years ago that they were will thought of. I am thinking for putting them on my 38 foot Luxe. I won’t purchase Michelin tires do to problems I have had with them and zero factory help.

I believe the best price I could find was about $230 each, made in Mexico, Taiwan, or China, somewhat unclear. I think they have plants in all three countries.

Just bought a Sailun 637 to replace a sidewall damaged tire for a dump trailer. Two MAJOR tire companies had to order the Sailuns and price was $300 & $240. Went online and Walmart ordered the same tire for $165 and charged $14 to balance and mount/torque lug nuts. I run 637s on my 14K 5er and work great for two years now.

If you don't want to support Communist China and are OK with an imported tire from a Free Country the Continental tires are a big hit with DRV owners. They are certainly a beast of a tire. Continentals are made in Czechoslovakia.

GY Tech Kmax T 245/70/17.5 are US Made and are a similar tire to the Continentals. Anyone have experience with these?

Just looked, the Kmax is a "J" rated tire, BUT only speed rated for 62 MPH while the G114 is "H" rated and speed rated for 75 MPH.

I think the 62 mph is based on FULL tire load. Anyone confirmed this with GY? Would be nice to know the rating at 70-75 for "Freedom State" towing.
