I just purchased the RoadMaster Comfort Ride Slipper Spring Kit with Shock Absorbers as well as 3 MORryde X-Factor Braces. I was wondering, for those that have installed the RoadMaster system, did you use the self-tapping Grade-8 bolts to mount the slipper box to the frame or did you buy normal bolts and use an actual nut to make it more secure?

Thanks,
Dale

We purchased the same system and it installed by Performance Brake ( they did a fantastic job). I watched them install it and they used the Self-Tapping bolts. Have driven almost 10,000 miles with installed and not one issue.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up using the self tapping bolts and then put a nut on the bolt for added security.
