Hi everyone! Glad to be here. I'm new to the 5th wheel lifestyle. Looking forward to picking up travel ideas and sharing my own experiences as I go. Happy camping!

Welcome from out in Weatherford, Texas. I have this forum bookmarked and occasionally swing by here just to see what's new. Unfortunately, there are very few posts here any more, so I generally spend time in the broader RV forums where it's not just fifth wheels, but travel trailers and various motorhomes.

In Dallas you've got a number of excellent state parks within 2-3 hours drive...from Lake Mineral Wells State Park and Trailhead to the brand-new Palo Pinto Mountains State Park to Ray Roberts State Park to Cleburne and Glen Rose State Parks to Cedar Hill State Park to Eisenhower, Lake Whitney, Lake Tawakoni, Meridian, and many more. Just search "North Texas State Parks".

We strongly support and recommend the annual State Park Annual Pass which grants free admission to everyone in the vehicle, plus gives you one night of half-price camping after a night of paid camping. Link provided below.
