Hi! My husband and I will taking our 1st 30 day trip with our Fifth Wheel. Looking for guidance regarding fuel and getting savings. Also, is there a benefit to using the truck lanes to fuel up?

Definitely less stress with the truck lanes. Recommend you consider The app Mudflap or Open Roads. Both offer discounted diesel at identified locations. Their apps show the price and where the stations are located

Thank you! I signed up for GreenLane however, will look into Mudflap and Open Roads as well.

We are Canadians that have spent the last two winters touring around Arizona & Utah. We found the Maverick fuel stations have good pricing, and in addition, some of them have RV dump stations and potable water available for no charge.

I have Mudflap and Open Roads and pretty much always find Open Roads to be a bit cheaper. Right now in my area Open Roads shows diesel at Petro for $4.38 per gallon. Mudflap has that same Petro at $4.54 per gallon and if I drove 20 miles I could get it at a smaller location through Mudflap for $4.48 (still a dime a gallon more than Open Roads). Without any fleet cards or other discounts, diesel is running $4.80-$4.95 in my area just west of Fort Worth, Texas.
