Has anyone used wholesale warranties insurance and made a claim? Were thinking about buying a 200.00 deductible.

So many folks are of the opinion that if you took the money they want for that insurance policy and invested it somewhere and drew out money as needed for repairs, you will have money left in that account for years to come. Maybe, maybe not? But I will not purchase any kind of extended warranty or insurance policy like that for anything I buy. It is a huge money maker for not only the company whos name is on the policy but the dearlership and the saleman selling it. My opinion...
