will be picking up my fiver in March /21... my 2 questions are this ....1) is it better to go with 1 12volt deep cycle battery or used 2 6 volt.....and 2) the slideout...should it be stored with the slide in or out...thanks for all replies

You should get better and longer service from 2x6 deep cycle batteries. Don't believe there are any real 12 volt deep cycle batteries. However, if you are going to always be plugged in when using the fiver, then probably the 1x12 will work ok.
I prefer storing with slides in, don't know if I can say why.

I believe new is best with batteries. If you have the option of 2 new 6 volt (Trojan) batteries that would be my choice. If not I would go with the new 12v "deep cycle". I am skeptical/leary of used batteries. I store my slide "in" if we are not camping.

of course I will be using NEW batteries....lol....in rereading my original post I can see where it implies I would be using used batteries....ha ha....my bad
