I have had the front jacks rebuilt due to leaking seals and replaced one slide out ram (they cannot be rebuilt) for the same reason. I now have another slide out ram starting to leak and would like to find a source for a ram that could be rebuilt if needed.

Does anyone have any ideas???

Did you actually take the old ram to an hydraulic repair shop, or just was told they cannot be rebuilt?
Should be some ID name/number on the rams.

Im no expert but it seems to me that any hyfraulics shop could find you a suitable replacement ram. As to cost if it dont say RV or marine it should cost a lot less.

I have never seen a hydraulic cylinder that could be cut open and rebuilt. Even the steering cylinder off my Cub cadet compactor with a shaft bent in half was rebuilt after Cub Cadet said it was " sealed unit" and impossible to repair and only they had one that would fit for $675.00. The hydraulic shop I took it to had back to me in two days. stll good as new after 2 years.
