If you have an old hot water heater replaced be careful to ensure it is done properly. My old gas/electric heater had one switch in the kitchen which would ignite the gas when turned on. The new one has two switches one for gas and one for electric heaters. The installer jurry rigged my new heater so it would work. It worked for one day and 400 miles. It took another installer six more hours to unscrew what the first guy did and install it properly. I had no idea there were two switches required for the new heater.
