We have been trying to work with a Kipor distributer here in the US be everyone has been un-responsive so far.
 
I have two 2000s and love them as well. Last weekend in Bowling Green at the Life on Wheels conference we were boondocking in the parking lot. A motorhome RVer had his genset go down and since he has a residential frig, he needed power. We loaned him one for the duration. One 2000 for us ran everything except air, which we didn't need.

To me this confirmed my decision to go with two 2000s, normally hooked in parrallel for 4000 watts/33 amps, but if one has a problem you still have some juice!
 
Ditto on the EU2000i's.

I've owned a couple for a year and a half or so and for the money you can't go wrong with these portable light weight generators.

RV.net Tech forum has an extensive thread on the Chinese generators. I looked at one from Pep Boys yesterday, and after I make a few measurements, I'll be getting one. The plan is to mount on rear of trailer with a receiver platform and run the cable to the AC connection on the left rear of the trailer.

This model (Power Pro) 3500 watt,has a 220v twist lock, with 25 amp breaker. Since ours is a 50amp system, I will use the supplied male twistlock, and use four conducter #10 wire to the trailer. Of course I will still only have the wattage the gen supplies, but better than using a dogbone from the 110v outlet.

We have a built in gen set. An ONAN 3.6 Kw. We have been using a Honda 2000 instead as it is so much more econimical. I can run everything in the rig except for the AC on this one generator. If we need the AC I expect to be in a full hook up anyhow. The Honda gives us the option to boondock but the Onan doesn't due to the high fuel usage at 1 gal per hour of LP.
 
I love mine also. Had one for 3 years, just got the parallel kit and another one from mayberrys.com. With 4 golf cart batteries you need the Honda's.
 
We have a 2000I also for about 1 1/2 years works very well. I do have a tip.
I forgot to run it for 2 months not good, when started did not run to well.
I put Stab-Bil in the 2 gal. can mix it then add it to gen tank started it after about 5 mins. it was running fine again. I started it 2 days ago It had been 2 weeks, and it ran just fine.
 
I also have 2, 2000i generators. I also had a Honda outboard. My experiance with Honda motors is that the carbs crap up pretty easily. I agree with MDTdriver, use Stabil or some other fuel stabilizer.
 
The Honda manual I got with the gen set showed there was a carb drain to remove fuel from the carb when storing it. Gasoline now adays goes "sour" almost while you are pumping it. I'd drain the gas if you figure the gen won't be running for more than a couple weeks.
 
Mike, My outboard had the same drain and I found it better to use a fuel stabilizer than to drain the carb. I think that is because when you drain it you can't get it all and the little bit that dries in small places is what causes the problems. The good news is that the carb is very simple and cleaning it is relatively easy.
 
Honda E2000 - extended run tank

I have dual 2000s also, and found a fuel tank for extended running. It was an easy hookup, and works perfectly if a little pricy.

Texas camping can get hot in the summer, and if you need AC, to keep one running thru the nite is challenging. You can actually sleep thru the night without getting up to refuel after 4-5 hours.

Wish I had been following forums a little closer, and I could have saved some money and had a fun project. On another forum, some folks were describing how to make your own tanks. Below is the forum index where generator tanks are discussed.
