Just bought a house that has an e-car adapter in the garage. Would like to plug in to it when loading and unloading but believe I cant directly (plug looks the same). Anyone know of an adapter that does what I want? Thanks!

E-Car outlets are 240v. There are some adapters available out there, but I would be highly suspicious. Chances are that connecting to this outlet will fry your RVs electrical system.

I don’t know if E-Car outlets have the neutral conductor or not, but if they do, and if your RV has a 50 A service, the appropriate adaptor should be fine. Even if your RV only has a 30 A input, if that neutral is there in the E-Car outlet, an appropriate adaptor would work using the neutral and one hot conductor.
