Newb from the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee. My wife, dog and I are just getting into rving. We had planned to, just in time for covid to hit and the market going crazy. It seems to be settling back in this area as we've been finding prices getting back to reasonable. Didn't want to borrow so we were still saving our pennies when used prices jumped 50 to 100 percent. At least it gave us a chance to save some more while waiting. Now we've been finding better prices in many cases and have just negotiated a deal on an older 5th wheel that suits our needs. And so it begins. More later I'm sure.

Welcome to the club!
If you are not new to camping, then don't need to tell you about all the great state and fed parks there is here in mid-east TN.
Since you are new to Rving in a 5th, you will find lots of advice on the net so the one thing I am going to tell you is to know the height of your rig.

Greetings from the desert of So. Cal. Well make that the desert of Quartzsite Az. right now. Our DRV we bought used two years ago. Well maintained and saved quite a bit of $$.
Once you figure out what RV you want just make sure you have enough truck to tow it safely.
