The KOA in Branson was also family friendly and closer to things in town http://koa.com/campgrounds/branson/. We liked the Escapee park and you don't have to be a Escapee to stay there, less things for kids though and also close to town https://www.escapees.com/parking/rainbow-parks/hollister-missouriof course there are others but these all would work for you.
