Brake caliper hoses

I want to replace the brake caliper hoses on my RV. Does anyone have the part number or advice where to buy?

Good morning, Duane. I have the MorRyde IS system; no leaf springs. 9k axels, I think. I’ll have to double check when I go to the garage today.

Put a coon tail on the RV and that will solve the problem

There was a series of Dexter calipers on Morryde I/S suspensions that had a straight piece of metal on the end of the line going into the caliper. Flexing of the suspension caused the head of the brake line to shear off in the caliper. The next application of the brakes would blow the brake line out of the caliper. Dexter's solution was to create a 90" bend in the metal part of the brake line that connects to the caliper so that the flexing motion would not put as much stress on the flared ends of the brake lines. The lines they sent me are ~ 17 1/2" long from the bend at one end to the end that attaches to the brake line on the chassis. I've attached pictures of the DOT #'s on the hose and a full hose from an extra I have. Thankfully, I have never needed the backup (yet). I would go to Dexter for the correct part. They are well aware of this situatin that came up at the same time as the brake caliper clip recall
