Bill and Joan

You may of hit the nail on the head. There is a very strong possibilty that I will not get the trailer back together in time to make the rally. I have a 5 inch rain gauge and it is full. The National Weather Service is predicting rain day and night until and through Friday and they say that all of the storms will produce large amonts of rain.

I live on a small grass roots airport in the suburbs of Liberty in the flood of 1993 the water in this house was four feet deep.(Didn't live in the house at that time but did have an airplane here ) the only thing that was showing of my hangar was the metal cap strip on the roof. (Water was approx 18ft deep over at the hangar) This a typical farm house built on a large mound of dirt or the house would have totally been under water also.

Hope to see ya at the rally but no promises.

As always good camping

Joyce and Jerry

We live in Blue Springs, MO, and have the 5th wheel in the driveway trying to load it to get outta town today for Branson. We own a Commercial Building and some of the interior bottom floor is drenched. Who knows when we can leave. Someboady stop the rain! The lightening also took out our wide screen TV.

Wow! Good luck to all you guys getting to the rally! You know what they say, "Come hell or high water!"

We just de-winterized and loaded our trailer, getting ready for our departure Sunday. Not to rub it in, but we are having summer conditions here in Southern Ontario. Nice for prepping, but would rather be camping!

Hope to see you there.

Cheers,
Bill

Bill: I was out checking my cold tire pressures on the truck before the sun was up and we had heavy frost last night!!

The guys that service the truck removed my pressure-pros on the rear and pumped em all up to 100lbs I forgot to tell them to skip that part of the service. They even got the one side inboard mixed up with the outboard one.

Bill: AAAAaargh, be sure to pick a couple of oranges off the tree in your back yard to bring with you.

Jerry: I got it. Getting ready to pull out this Thurs for Branson and of course after spending a couple of days washing the rig, it's going to be raining!

Rally

Bruce

The verdicts not in yet whether or not I'm going to make it to the rally. I don't think washing the rig is in the picture and it does need it desperatly. I wanted to get the bed dolled up a little on the 450 but that's not going to happen either.

Hey it just dawned on me your the reason we been gettn all this rain you washed your lash up yep that's it it's all your fault.

It stopped raining here yesterday but there was a big scare that we were going to have a repeat of 93 so it was busy here getting airplanes flown out and everything in the hangars moved to higher ground.

The forecast says no more rain until Thurs and then only 30 percent so if it holds up I might get some of my work done.

Mogolfers

Looks like you also might be able to get loaded and get out of town now. Good luck.

As always good camping

Joyce and Jerry

P.S. Bruce you know I'm just kidding I hope.

Just wait

Remember last year!????

When we arrived at Goshen to start preparing for the first rally we had frost on the windows two mornings.
We had the heaters on.

Then the T-storm came and knocked down the huge tent at the DT factory.

Then the temperature soared to 90degrees, some couldn't get their A/C to work correctly.

Just wait, our luck is bound to return.

Good luck and safe travels, see ya in Branson

Jerry: Sandra said I shouldn't tell anyone I washed the rig! Ah well, I've been blamed for worse things than mere floods! :P

Set the autotimer on your coffee perk to four in the morning and brew about 12 cups and you'd be surprised how much you've got done by 10 AM, nothing like a caffein high to get yer afterburner lit!

Lex & Bonnie: Anyone who's camped knows there's no such thing as scheduling perfect weather and while RV'ing isn't camping technically, the same rules apply: Have fun no matter what!
