I had the factory option bicycle mount installed on our 38' rig either at the factory or where the frame was manufactured. It is no longer there. It removed itself after making contact with the ground exiting a driveway with a slope on it. Since it stuck down so far it made contact easily. When the spot welds someone used to hold it on failed, the mount came back and impailed the rear cap causeing a spectacular amount of damage. I won't have that mount on the rear of our unit again. It likely wouldn't have failed had a proper weld been used but I defintely don't need anything sticking 6" below the very back end of the trailer any more. It's already too low as it is.
