What is needed to tow 5th wheel

I am looking at a Keystone Springdale.
GVWR 9960
Dry Weight 8180

Do I need a Dodge 2500 diesel or something equivalent?

Probably. You could use a 1500, but you would not be happy. Lot of more capability on the 2500 over the 1500.

The ideal truck for 10,000 GVWR would be a 2500 4 door 8ft.bed 2 wheel drive Diesel. Take your pick on truck brand. But I think the RAM with a Cummins is unbeatable.
