Awning wind sensor

On our Mobile Suites I have an awning that has a wind sensor on it. The control box emits a beeping sound that indicates a problem. has anyone successfully fixed one of these units?

Here is a link to the manual----

Sounds like there is a problem with the wind sensor. Does it operate with the manual out/in switch? I disconnected our wind sensor long ago as it operated sporadically and not to my liking---would close when no wind, and never fast enough for sudden wind gusts.

Hope this helps.

Joe

My dealer recommended long ago the wind sensors were very unreliable and do not depend on them. I stopped using mine years ago.
