Level-Up System

Hi Everyone,
We picked up our new 2010 MS (#5334) the first May. So far we haven’t had many issues. However, about a month ago we moved our unit to our son’s house for a short stay until we move to Macon Georgia for about 18 months. The area we parked was not as level as we would have liked so it was necessary to extend the Level-Ups, on the off door side, to the point that the tires were off the ground. When we did so, the door side slide would not open all the way even though the unit was completely level. You could tell that it was under a great deal of strain in trying to open. After some time, we put some blocks under the off door side wheels so that they had some support and then the slide whent out normally. We thought that we had just put some extra stress on the frame by raising it so much and decided we would need to be more careful in the future. I have recently read where many owners extend their level-ups to where the wheels are off the ground and have no issues. Then the other day I read where some owners were having “camber” problems. We would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.
Dale

Please let us all know what you find out. I have no issues when opening or closing slides when level, even when one side has wheels off ground.

Dale in your post it sounds like you only lowered one side of the level-up. is that correct? If it is leveled properly you should not be having an issue with the doors.
