It may or may NOT be the issue, but mine struggle when the wipers are not lubricated...

the 2 most common way I have heard and tried were - Both ways work real well

* Pledge furniture Polish
* baby powder on an old sock

On the advice of others in the forum I just bought some 3M slideout lubricant. Haven't applied it yet but others say it works best.

Depending on what kind of "struggle", it could be electrical. While newer, our fifth wheel required replacing a 40 amp "self healing breaker fuse thing" with 80 amp or above. Otherwise, we'd get movement, then would stall, then move again, then stall.

Also, bear in mind that these slides draw some power to move that much weight. It could be that having a bigger battery bank could be part of it. (Even if hydraulic vs. electric slides, they still use DC current.) More batteries increases the available amps and current. (Or something equivalent, the electricians here will correct me!)

Slide it in slightly, oh maybe like 6”, until it lifts up. Then stop. Then look under the carpet. See if you can see any obstructions like loose screws, chunk of wood from construction etc. While it’s accessible, look to see if you can see the rollers the bottom rolls on. Make sure they are firmly mounted and functional. If not any of those things, or anything others have suggested, your slide might be out of adjustment, either top to bottom, side to side, or in or out.
