New to 5th wheels

Looking at moving from a 30' TT to a 5 er. Found a few we like and found this page to already be a wealth of information.

Feel free to ask any questions you have. There are quite a few of us here that have been RVing for 30+ years.
In my 30+ years I've had five 5th wheels. Some good some great some so so.

I am just a youngster here. RVing for almost 40 years. Have owned everything other that a pop up. Presently own 3 5ers. A 2018 Mobile Suites semi permanent in Georgetown Tx, a 2019 Montana here in Georgetown as well, in storage, that we travel in and a 1998 Prowler on 10 acres we own outside Ruidoso NM. No sticks and bricks for us. With our two fivers set up semi permanently, we don’t even register them as they are no longer towed. Only minor property taxes in NM.
Just ask questions and you will get answers here! Or go to brand specific forums such as MontanaOwnersGroup.com

We have been camping together for 35 years. Our favorite, so far, has been a Roadtrek but we just sold that and purchased our first 5th wheel. We picked up a very slightly used 2018 Wildcat 28SGX. We had looked at hundreds of TTs and 5ers. It's all about the floor plan. The only thing we compromised on this was the step up to the bed. Everything else is just what we were looking for. Good luck in your search.
