Need Washer and dryer for a King of the Road Royal Villa.

Just bought a 2006 King of the Road Royal Villa trailer. Got a great deal!

The trailer is set up for a stackable washer and dryer.

Should I just get a unit that does both? Any recommendations on brand and model to buy that will fit?

After talking to people who have had both types--the single units work much better than the combos, + you can wash and dry at same time. And both the washing and drying take less time in the singles.
From personal experience with Whirlpool and now Spendide stackables, my wife says she would opt for the Whirlpools every time + they are usually less cost.

We've had good look with Whirlpool as well.

Seems you could wash in one and dry in the other unit, which would be quicker, but then with it being just the Wife and I, and assuming we keep up with the clothes as we go it should be no issue. We have my daughter and three kids living with us temporarily, and we have a mountain of clothes to wash! Looking forward to simpler times! (GRIN)

You have any special place to shop for the unit or one of the trailer places? Any suggestions on best place for trailer items? Any list of things for a new trailer person they should consider buying?

You can shop on line at Sears.com for the Whirlpool and/or several other places. Keep in mind the width (max 25-26") to fit in the space, AND be sure you are looking at 120volt items, kind of hard to come across. DO NOT mistake the 240volt units. Somewhere back in this forum is the model numbers but not sure which post it was and when. The Splendide units are pricier and my wife definitely wishes she had the Whirlpools back, but they came in the trailer.
Here is one link:

More:
The Maytag dryer is Model MDE2400AYW.
The Whirlpool dryer is Model WED7500VW.
The Bosch dryer is Model WTV76100US.
