GIANT ice cube

Our icemaker has about an inch thick of solid ice in the bottom of the bucket. There are individual cube on top of it. Last night I took it out and by morning it was there again. Has anyone else had this problem?

Check the operator's manual, it will tell you how to adjust the water level to prevent that.

If that doesn't work, it is always 5 o'clock somewhere...got Tequila?

I had that problem a while back. It was because my unit was a little off level. When the water went in to fill the ice tray it overflowed into the container under it and of course froze up into a big block of ice. I leveled my unit and the problem went away. Good Luck.

I had the same problem which went away after I adjusted the water level. I also now lift the arm the night before we are going to travel.
