Battery connections

Ok remember I am new to DD.
I was just in cleaning the battery terminals and notices that the white cables are negative and the black are positive. Is the normal for DD? I figured they were hooked up right since it was the last owner that hooked them up befor I picked it up in July and it has not cought fire LOL.
Just double checking with how DD does there 12 volt colour coding.
There have been no issues and they are charging properly
Thanks guys.
Kevin

Generally, anything red or black is positive, and white is negative.
