Bathroom Exhaust Vent

Greetings,
The bathroom exhaust vent in our 2003 MS vents into the attic insulation. You'd think that it would vent to the outside. Is this proper or did somebody want to go home early the day my fifth wheel was worked on. Thanks.

As far as we know, they all vent into the "attic".

Sane here. I cut a hole in the roof and installed a vent cover. Talk about a shortcut. What the customer doesn't know.......
