Cowling Cracking

I did a search and couldn't find anything so I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed cracking on the cowling behind the ceiling fan.

Judy,

Are you referring to the plastic "liner" that is covering the mounting hole in the ceiling behind the ceiling fans in the kitchen and living room?

If that is the case I checked both of ours and no issues. Could your fan be loose and vibrating while traveling?

Yes. I'm talking about the plastic piece. It's possible for the fan to be loose, the dealer tech tried to replace it with a 12 volt fan, but couldn't find 12 volt wiring up there, so put the 110 fan back up. It may have worked loose since then.

If you call FanTastic, they will send you out a new one for free as long as you own the rig. Had two sent to me, no questions asked.

Bob, she's talking about the residential style ceiling fan not the fantastic fan.
