Newbie

Hello all,
My name is Diana and I have decided to be a full timer. I have been looking at two fifth wheels in particular the Keystone and the New Horizons Champagne. I don't care about brand new but would like opinions on either of those brands from owners who either have purchased used or have owned for a long time. Many questions I have but I would like to know as far as quality, and insulation what do you recommend. Reading and researching different makes and models has left me a little overwhelmed.
Selling my home and I am ready to live my dream.
Thanks for your support and I look forward to hearing from ya'll.

Well, hello to you Diana, and welcome to the forum...in reading your post, perhaps you meant to say NuWa Champagne and not New Horizons? If you did mean NuWa, they are no longer in production, but you might check with the former factory in Chanute, KS, for inventory. The NuWa HitchHikers were very well built and would compare favorably to any Keystone model. Kansas RV Center is the place to check with.
As to going full-time--my wife and I did just what you are planning--we sold the house last May and went full-time in a new-to-us DRV fifth wheel. Have you looked at DRV models? Have you looked at RVTrader.com? How about PPLmotorhomes.com? Both these internet sales sites have plenty of info on prices for almost any type of RV.
Good luck in your search.
Joe

Diana, welcome to the forum AND to the world of RV'ing. Any chance you meant Cedar Creek Champagne? We might also like to know which model of Keystone you are viewing. Keystone has hundreds of different RV's. Also, what would your tow vehicle be?
