garbage disposal

Do the new Suites still come with a garbage disposal as part of the standard equipment?

No, it is no longer available. I think they had too many problems with them.

If they had it as an option I would have deleted it.

Well, we were going to delete it also. So since it is no longer available, we are fine with it not being available.

We definitely want the dishwasher! We even added it to our current Select Suites. The wife loves her dishwasher.

We were fine without the DW for 3.5 years full timing but having it is really nice! I told the wife I have no idea how to run it, so far that has worked.

That worked for me for a time too. Eventually I capitulated and learned how to run it.

Anything to keep mama happy.

We have both DW and waste disposal. No complaints on either,no sense complaining. But would not buy into these if they were optioned.
edit BTW My wife and I disagree and I am not a kitchen gadget operator either.

Is the dishwasher now an option re Joezilla post???? or is it optioned on the select or tradition only?

The price must be dropping... lol

still have that forced $9k package for everyone to swallow?

The dishwasher is a standard item on all Mobile and Elite suites and Estates. It is an option on Tradition.

Yes, that nearly $9000 forced option is still there. They do give you a $3000 credit in the end, but it is still a big chunk of change.

We ordered our 2014 w/o the DW, but kept the Disposal. Since the Disposal should (hopefully) help hold the sink in place. Our sink in the 2009 MS did the normal drop after a few years.

Two new MS for us and two sink drops 07 & 14. G. Disposal did help cushion the drop on the 2014, but still separated from the Corion. Took a day in the shop to repair. TGIW. warranty

We were skeptical about the dishwasher, but wouldn't be without one now! The secret on the disposal is to remember that this is not like the one you have in your house. In your house you can likely grind up a head of cauliflower or some carrots that have gone bad... In your RV this will lead to problems. Your RV disposal will do a nice job on light scraps from your dishes, just stay away from heavy fibrous stuff. It wouldn't be to much of a loss to be without, but yes it certainly does help support the sink.
