New RV Ownership

Me and my wife are new to Living in an RV full time. What are somethings you wish you had known before it happened and what are some tips and tricks you learned while being in an RV

Welcome to the forum.
3+ yrs FT, hardest part has been getting rid of 'stuff' we had accumulated over the years--still working on that. At times, wish we had a 'base' home to go back to for short time periods. Never enough storage room for needed items.
But we really like the lifestyle.

2 years FT this month for us. I wish I’d known COVID was coming. Id’ve bought two RV’s. (His n hers) 430 sq.ft. gets real tight when everything is closed and you’ve watched every show on Netflix.
We have a 3X5 storage near my son’s house and we’re going to try to empty it and get rid of it soon. We haven’t needed anything in it since we went full time.
I really don’t miss having lots of “stuff.” We reached a point of being within 500lbs. of max weight within 6 months of ownership and have dedicated ourselves to throwing something away when we buy something new. So far so good. We actually lost a couple hundred pounds since then.
Welcome to the club. If you know your travel plans, pick your park and reserve way in advance. The weekend warriors are out in force due to the afore mentioned COVID so it’s slim pickins on the weekend plus all the other full timer’s already have the best spots in the park.
YMMV
