Besides the FORD CHEVY WAR

Straying away from the ford/Chevy wars, what is everyone’s thoughts and opinions on Toyota’s Tundra?

I hear its an excellent 1/2 ton pickup--most all Toyota products seem to be good. Just have to be sure you don't ask it to do more than its designed to. See lots of them towing TTs, don't believe ever seen one under a small fiver.

My brother just bought a Sprinter Copper Canyon fifth wheel and is going to pull it with his Tundra. He is going on his first trip in June with me and we'll see how he does. With his Lancer camper it did real well and it was a heavy unit so he had all the upgrades on his Tundra he won't be breaking any speed records but like I said we'll see.

Due to the weights of the Trailers I tow, I am a one-ton owner. However, if I were in the market for a half ton pickup, I would absolutely consider a Toyota. Over the years, Toyota has had an excellent track record for building strong, reliable vehicles.
