Electrical meter

What type/brand electrical meter do you use?
What do you use it for? (Amps and voltage at electric poles, outlets during PDI...anything else?)

I use the progressive industry surge protection. The device provides amp draw and availability and will protect the rv against electrical faults.
We also have a power management system that shows current draw and will prevent any devices in the unit from turning on that would overload the available volts. For example the HW heater will shut down if the load will exceed 30 amps. It prevents fuses and posts shutting off.

I may be wrong, but I think she's looking for a voltmeter. If you want the best, get a Fluke. There are lots out there, and just about any one you get will work fine. Just have the salesperson show you how to use it.

Power meter alternative

I am not sure exactly what you are looking for but I have installed this in my Mobilesuites.

Is that what you are looking for?

I have a Sears VM--does a good job, but as mentioned, the best is Fluke brand. No matter what you get, understanding how to use it is not easy and will take some time to be able to use it for best results.

Rick,
What brand is the meter at the lower level?

Joe

It is an E-bay item, not expensive at all, I wired it with a DPDT heavy-duty switch to be able to see either side of the buss.
