My last tire on the driver side the spring in the front is stuck in the up position. If put some heavy duty grease is there an opinion if that will let it set back to its normal position. I only noticed it because the tires looked closer together. I am trying to get around taking it to a spring shop.

Generally, if you jack the wheels off the ground, you can get a pry bar in place to force the spring back to correct position. Not an uncommon problem. Certainly, an axle/spring shop can fix it. Might want to check all the shackle bolts at same time.

Thank you for the reply. After reviewing U Tube the springs were supposed to be in that position. Any Idea why the tires are closer together on the same side I thought the springs were messed up.

Thanks

Maverick, the tires are NOT to be any closer on one side than the other. How about posting a few pictures so we can see where you're coming from.

The equalizer on either side is not in the same position might be the situation, otherwise you have something that has moved. Are all the hangers ok? Are all the spring leaves in one piece? Look closely at each side to see if any differences. As Jim said, both wheels should be just about equal spacings on each side unless leveled oddly.
