Table Mounts

Due to roof leaks and wet carpet the brackets that screw the table to the floor are rusting. I am going to unscrew the table from the floor and either sand and paint, chrome or powder coat the brackets before rescrewing to the floor. Before I go to that trouble, I'm sure some of you just let the table float free (do not keep it screwed to the floor)??? Does it move around a lot in transit??? Does the table top beat against the window frame??
Thanks

Screws were for shipment, removed on delivery. No movement on the table or chairs and no damage.

Cheers,
Bill

I will "Ditto" Bill's observations, get rid of 'em. We've been over all sorts of bad road and the table in the dining slide has never moved (it's right over the wheels & Trailair susp) while we have had one occasion of the coffee table in the lounge flip onto it's side.

Table mounts

We have also not had any issues with our table "free floating" during transit. Just push the chairs up to the table and you should have no movement.

Sorry to hear you have had water leaks and hope all is getting resolved.

THey should have been removed by your dealer.

Leave the screws out, our table has never moved.

Just as everyone else has said, leave the table unscrewed. Ours has not been a problem and neither were the ones in our previous trailers.

Hm..................

Does that mean that some of us will have a few "loose screws?"

Sorry, just couldn't resist.

To use the table's center extension, we had to remove the screws. I then flip the table over for transit. Then stack things on top & around it, like the chairs, printer & a small tote.
