You are posting in a DRV section. Are you saying you are towing a Mobile Suites of what?

Pressure is irrelevant, bottom line air to where the truck sets level.

You're not really pulling any DRV product with a 250, are you?

Bob, out of curiosity, what does your RV weigh loaded? Pin weight? Surely you've run it across a CAT scale.

In that you are towing a fairly large RV with a medium duty truck, a trip across the scales on your way to go camping will tell you a lot you need to know.

here is something close - 36 RSSB3
Length 36' 9" | Est. Dry Weight 16,600 Lbs. | GVWR 20,000 Lbs.

Not exactly sure where the 14.5 number came from.. You MAY want to re-check your info...

Either way, air them bags UP with that much weight om top of them.. I pull a 17k loaded fiver with my 2020 SRW F350 and have my bags at 35-40psi to ride level...

I owned a 36SB3 Mobile suites and it weighed 18k loaded. Also your truck at 8k loaded is likely a light number.

I HIGHLY advise you take your truck and trailer FULLY loaded with propane fuel and water in the tank and get it weighed. Passengers also.

I also advise you look at your truck tire load rating at 80psi. If 17" you are most likely over your tires load carrying capacity.

Not trying to be an A-HOLE here but you are definitely putting you, your family and others at risk with such a large load with a light duty truck.

Please report back all your weights. They will let you go thru twice. Separate from RV and weigh again.

Mona=You are not running 17.5 tires on your ford. That is what was referenced above by cummins. That's 5 times in 12 months cummins and I agree 100%. ANY 250 pulling ANY DRV unit is WAY over weight as are most 350 srw. Proof of that is on the net by the people who run the scales at some DRV events. They have history going back to the beginning. Sorry but I can not remember their names, but pretty sure it's on this forum somewhere. I'll look later and repost.

When I decided to get a DRV first thing I did was sell my F-350 LB SRW truck and buy a dually. F-250 is just to light a truck to tow any DRV.

And your truck weighs 8K makes a weight of 26,500 pounds. Do you have the required Class A non-CDL or CDL drivers license?
Yes a light duty truck can pull and heavy load. Yes a light duty truck can stop a heavy a heavy load if everything works. But happens in a corner, you need more rubber on the ground and the tail shouldn't control your actions
Clay 2016 MS 38PS3 weighting about 17k empty

He's not approaching the 26,001 weight yet, not with a 2004, but is still more than 1600 pounds over gross cargo on the truck. The only suggestion I have is a different truck, and a DRW at that. Not Timbrens, not an extra spring leaf, not air bags, not bigger tires, not overload shocks, and not any other things that people dream up to help max out their gross cargo capacity. Sorry....
