Fifth Wheel Wiring Question

I have 2015 GMC Sierra. Am hauling 2016 Montana HC. While towing, I am getting frequent alerts on Intellilink Instrument Pannel: "Check trailer wiring" which immediately changes to "Trailer Connected". I have verified that brakes continue to operate & lights continue to work even during these alerts. I have had service tech check trailer & no issues discovered.

Anyone have experience with an issue similar to this one?
Any assistance/guidance is much appreciated. Thanks!

You likely have a loose connection where you plug the trailer into the truck, go to somewhere that deals with truck hitches and have that checked.

If you’re not already using it try electrical contact grease in the plug and receptacle, if you have a loose pin or poor continuity it will help to make that contact, if that doesn’t work, I would plug in your truck and wiggle each bulb until you duplicate the fault, then you know which one it is…..good luck.
