GMC Diesel Owners Question

How do you drain the water from the fuel filter on your GMC Duramax? I know you can remove the rubber skirting from the wheel well but that seems like a lot of trouble and I may not get it back in correctly. I was just wanting to check it for any water before it becomes a problem.

I installed a fuel filter door the first time I removed the wheel well liner. Link attached. There are 2 different ones. One for GMC and one for Chevy.

Thanks. Looks like a great idea. Hopefully, I can install it myself.
