Satelite TV?
My MS came with the automatic satelite dish on the roof.
My question is:
How do you wire in the outside satelite connection and the dome satelite at the same time?
I noticed that the end of the wire from the outside satelite hookup is not hooked up to anything in the ent. center.
Do I need to put an A/B switch in the cabnet in order to use a portable dish out side the MS?
All help is appreciated..thanks
P.S. I also have a TiVo DVR and satelite switch signal splitter wired into the ent. center so I can have two leads to the DVR and one to the bedroom so we can watch separate programing on the bedroom tv. I also have an A/B for the bedroom TV. So I can switch between satelite and cable, dvd, antenna, vcr, tivo,,ect.

You nailed the solution. There are limited feeds into the switching box the factory puts into the rigs. An AB switching box is the solution for the coax choice unless you just want to swap coax feeds at the back of the box and that's a bit of a pain. On our rig I never did find the second outside feed coax wire from the dual connector plate in the water control area.
Do not try to use a signal splitter, that will degrade the signal. I removed the splitter that the factory put in and the broadcast TV signal is now viewable.

Not to hijack this thread, but was wondering where to purchase the knobs which replace the nuts on the ground mounted antenna dish. I seen a picture of them someplace, but now cant find it. I have wing nuts but the replacement knobs would be a lot better.

The splitter I am useing is called a switch, it splits the signal from the dish, in order to use more than one(up to four) receiver from one dish.

A good hardware store will have knobs with male and female threads in various sizes. Last time I had to buy a internal threaded 1/4-20 one and add a stud as they didn't have the correct one in stock.
Look in the draws with cotter keys etc.

Ace Hardware was the last place I found some recently, but others have them I am sure. Like Hobo says, look in the drawers where all the misc. stuff is.
Here is an online link among others that I looked at but I think you gotta buy in some kind of quantity.
