Mice

What is everyone doing to keep mice out of their RV and/or to kill mice that have made their way into the RV.

After 8 years of full-time RVing we have only had mice in our rig twice.
Once we notice them, we use to old tried and true wood and wire mouse trap. Put some peanut butter on it and we catch the culprit usually on the first night. Leave traps set for a few more days to make sure he didn't bring any friends or family with him. Actually got two mice in one trap last time. Guess they wanted to share the peanut butter.

I really can't answer that because in 23 years of RVing we have never (that we know of or could detect) had a mouse or rat in our RVs. We live on 5 wooded acres, we have our fifth wheel parked here at the house and leave it year-round except when we are on the road with it.

We do have a couple of outside "barn cats" and perhaps that's our secret, but we have never really done anything above and beyond to prevent them.

My wife has often worried about mice getting in, but it's always been unwarranted.
