Vinyl Shower Sweep

My radius shower has a vinyl sweep in a chromed rail screwed to the shower pan below the door. It is a vinyl, angled "T" sweep that has a 3/16" (5mm) "T" and a 7/16" (12mm) sweep. I have been able to find dozens of places that sell 1/4" (6.35mm) "T" sweeps, but DRV put on an oddball one that nobody sells. Has anyone replaced your vinyl shower sweep? If so, was it 3/16" and where did you buy it?
Thanks,
Ron Johnson

Ron...perhaps I'm wrong, but I would think that the door and shower stall were sold to DRV as a package...have you asked DRV for help in finding the manufacturer of the unit ?

Regards
Gemstone

Here is an email conversation I had regarding the shower sweep with phone numbers. I changed only the vinyl portion. Worked out great.

Hello Leo,

Below is Cheryl at Irvine Shade and Door, our shower door supplier, response to the part you need for your shower door. Please see her question as to whether or not you want the sweep seal on the rail too.

Please advise.

Well, I called Craig Vaughn at DRV and he's sending me 3 ft of the seal @ $.38 per foot. Thanks for your responses.

My unit's 9 years old. I wouldn't expect to get it for free, although $1.14 seems like a ridiculous amount to put on a charge card.

Factory always charges us shipping for parts. I'd be glad to have only $1.14 added to a CC.

I guess I was lucky. Second owner and they still sent me a few different items for free. That's customer service.
